« I’m 19 and I’m seeing a 46 year old married man. We’ve been going out 9 month. We’re in love but he’s not gonna leave his family and I don’t want him to. I actually go to the same college as one of his daughters but she doesn’t know lol.     If she is already a resident, he only has to marry her and nothing else; be happily ever after.

    After 5 years of residence (obtaining her green card) she can apply for citizenship by herself anyways.

    From the immigration point of view nothing. She is already a permanent resident. and can apply for U.S Citizen.

    She is free to get married with no restrictions
